child’s world
Some one yells
“It’s marble season,”
and all the good little children of my father’s era
play
and try to win marbles by hook , crook or treason.
Some one yells,
“It’s the Yo-Yo craze”
and all the good little children of my own era
spin Yo- Yo’s in a daze.
Some one yells
“Pokemon fever”
and all the good little children of my own child’s era
play Pokemon like good little beavers.
The ways of a child’s culture.
The ways of a child’s world.
A child’s private heaven
for all the boys and girls.
