So much suffering

There’s so much suffering in the world

it’s enough to make you want to;

Turn off the TV

Turn off the radio

Not read the papers

and go and live on an Island somewhere.

But I dare not do that;

I need to know what’s going on in the world,

otherwise I will suffer even more.

But I say again, “there’s so much suffering in the world.”
