When you are old and gray

When you are old

 when you are gray,

  when you know much more,

    but have less to say.

     When the world

      slows down inside.

        When you are much more

          at peace and wise.

            When you can reflect,

              when the passed and present meld,

               then maybe this will be the time

                  for a final farewell;

                        when you are old and gray.
